A lot has happened since my last blog post. Going to Ferguson in August has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Not only did I experience a lot of eye opening things and meet some wonderful people, it lead to my first full time staff photographer position for Anadolu Agency, a Turkish news agency, in their Washington, D.C. bureau.
I started with the Agency in October and in that time I have covered a wide variety of things. I’ve returned to Ferguson twice, covered the White House and Senate, civil rights protests, Veterans Day, Halloween, and many other things.
Looking back it’s been a great three months. Not every assignment has been the most interesting but I try to push myself to make interesting images any ways. So far it’s been a dream job and I couldn’t be more happy. During this time, photos have been published all over the world including the Huffington Post, Time (web), Business Week, Bloomberg, BET.com, Al Jazeera, MSN, Mashable, ABC News, Esquire (web), PBS, Foreign Policy, and The Onion (my personal favorite!).
These are my favorite 50 images from the past three months (in order taken). Hope you enjoy!
